AFX at ATP Aphex Twin is confirmed to play at the Portishead curated All Tomorrow's Parties festival. Codenamed 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' this ATP event takes place December 7, 8 and 9 at Butlins Holiday camp in Minehead, Somerset, UK. More Details Tom Jenkinson Tom Jenkinson, aka Squarepusher, is set to perform two special solo bass shows - London in July, and Paris in September. These performances will feature pure electric bass - not the usual Squarepusher electronics. The London show will feature a collaboration with free-improvising saxophonist Evan Parker, with mechanical master Pierre Bastien supporting for the French show. More info Sonar - Bleep Sonar Festival are releasing three MP3 compilations exclusively through Bleep, replacing the CD albums released in the past. Put together by the festival directors the three comps feature tracks from Wolf Eyes, Dizzee Rascal, Junior Boys, Clark and more. Sonar at Bleep Warp artists playing this years festival (14th - 16th June) are Clark, Mira Calix, Alexander's Annexe and Flying Lotus (see listings below for times). Grizzly Bear return to Europe for Roskilde Festival on 7th July.
