As Body Riddle continues to seep deeper and deeper into the consciousness of people who like their music with ambition, inspiration and more than a touch of genius, Clark heads out on the road to bring those beats to the masses. Many of the shows feature drummer Alvin Ryan. Dates include London's
Luminaire  (7 Dec) and of course the Warp NYC party. More in Warp Live below.

In other news, Warpmart have stocked some limited edition Clark t-shirts. There are two versions available, based on the iconic falling man logo. They are going steadily, so get in there while you can from the link below. Oh, and look out for a download-only remix and video in early December. More to follow...

Grizzly Bear :: Stolen gear, cancel tour; Free downloads

Clark

As you may have already heard, following family health problems and thieving bastards breaking into their tour van, Grizzly Bear have been forced to cancel the rest of their European tour.

We are all very sorry to those of you who were looking forward to the shows, but we're sure that in the circumstances you understand. Read a statement from the band here

By way of some compensation, there are a couple of new beautiful acoustic recordings on their site to download for free - Reprise and Shift. Get them here

  Alexander's Annexe :: Out Now

NOW

NOW <

The 30 minute experimental piece Push Door To Exit is out now on CD. Comprised entirely of sounds created from piano, the piece sees Alexander's Annexe (David Sheppard, Sarah Nicolls and our very own Mira Calix) committing their acclaimed live show to tape for the first time:

"severely minimal, decidedly unsettling and extraordinarily seductive" **** Uncut

The new album from Mira Calix Eyes Set Against the Sun, will be released in January.

  Born Ruffians :: CMJ Festival Report

Squarepusher

Born Ruffians rolled into New York last week for the annual CMJ college music fest and proceeded to turn some serious heads with their performances.

The Fader said "Born Ruffians' set included: yelps, shouts, stomps, whistles, harmonies, broken strings - definitely some of the best jangly pop we have listened to in some time."

The New York Times said "Crisp, staccato songs about awkward feelings, harking back to the early Talking Heads."

Catch the Born Ruffians on tour in America and Canada with Hot Chip through November and then with The Hidden Cameras in December.

!!!

!!! are back, and we're convinced they're going to save the world! The new album has been delivered and combines an enhanced focus on incredible song writing with all the intricacy, freedom and shear dance floor swagger that made Louden Up Now such a delight.

It's truly great and undoubtedly a huge step on from what's gone before.

The band's notorious live assault will also be back next year at a venue near you. More to be revealed.

Maximo Park

After playing tours that sold out in minutes, headlining festivals and supporting the likes of The Rolling Stones and New Order throughout 2006, Maximo Park are currently finishing off the follow-up to the Mercury-nominated A Certain Trigger.

Gil Norton (The Pixies 'Doolittle') has been on production duties for the highly anticipated album. More news soon.

Nice Nice :: New Signing

Warp have signed Portland, Oregon duo Nice Nice. Sitting somewhere between the multi-layered heavy-as-fuck drive of Battles and the twisted r+b of Prefuse 73, the band have put out a few low key releases on the US' West Coast over the last couple of years and been remixed by the likes of Stars As Eyes, Caural and DJ/Rupture. Their innovative use of intense electronics and effects alongside live instrumentation has earned the band a solid reputation on the road too.

We look forward to confirming new music in the near future; in the meantime you can download a track from 2005's Yesss! for free below.
