Prefuse73 New EP

	Prefuse73 Reads The Books is out now, an 8 track collaboration with Massachusetts' The Books that follows on from the superb Pagina Dos track on the last album Surrounded By Silence. After reaching instant-classic status with their second album The Lemon Of Pink, and further solidifying this reputation with Lost and Safe, The Books have been much lauded for the astronomical quality of their carefully crafted songs complimented with their mysterious, withdrawn personas. The EP continues Scott Herren's evolution into one of the most versatile and visionary producers in the world, with the clash of The Books' cellos, banjos, clavinets and other traditional instrumentation against the digital stutter of Prefuse's MPC and synths creating the feeling of a musical lover's quarrel. We are extremely proud to announce that Boards of Canada have finished and mastered their new album, to be released in October - their first release since 2002's Geogaddi! The album is very much classic Boards, building on themes and sounds that can can be heard in their intervening remix work for Beck, cLOUDDEAD and Boom Bip.

Broadcast

Broadcast are back with a new album Tender Buttons to be released on 19th September. The new music has a darker and more psychedelic feel than the last album (the title track in particular being very Velvets-inspired), with sparse drumloops and tape manipulations underpinning Trish's vocals. A limited and highly collectable 7" single America's Boy/Tender Buttons is released on 15th August, also downloadable from Bleep.
